2023: My Husband is Capable, Vote For Him If You Want Credibility In Government—Oyo NNPP Guber Candidate’s Wife, Ruth Popoola Tells Muslim Women


Muslim Society Organization under the ages of Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society ( NASFAT ) in Oyo State has charge the wife of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Governorship Candidate Mrs Ruth Popoola to Associate herself with them in the State, adding that prayers answereth everything.

The call was made by the State zonal Chairman of NASFAT Alh. Bayo Azeez yesterday when she met with NASFAT Women from Various branches of the organization at it’s prayer headquarters at Samonda, in Ibadan.

While addressing the pressmen, Mrs Popoola said her visitation to NASFAT Muslim group in Ibadan is to felicitate with her fellow women, who are Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el Kabir and also to seek their unquestionable support for her husband during the next general election in the state.

” I came here today to wish my sisters happy Sallah and to discuss about the coming election with them. I came to tell them my husband is contesting for governorship seat and to tell them why it’s important to vote for him.


” We all want good government, and the only way to get a good government is to vote credible candidates, irrespective of the party they belong, thou, campaign has not started proper, but I see it as necessary to seek prayer for my husband who is contesting governorship seat in the state, NASFAT is a prayer group with good mission, that is why we are here to seek for their prayers and support.

According to Alhaji Azeez, he said, NASFAT is not a political group but always render prayer and support for anyone see as credible with fear of Almighty God, he thereafter urged the wife of the governorship candidate not to relent her request for prayer and consultation, advises her to move closer to the Muslim organisation through any of the 10 branches across the state.

POJ wife was received by leaders of the Islamic organisation and women from various branches across Oyo state at the the NASFAT Headquarters Samonda, Ibadan.
