The Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman/CEO of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his message, Chief Sanusi acknowledged the sacrifices, devotion, and discipline exhibited throughout the fasting period, urging the Muslim Ummah to uphold the values of compassion, perseverance, and selflessness beyond Ramadan.

He also used the occasion to address the prevailing economic challenges in the country, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in fostering unity, resilience, and sustainable development.

> “As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim faithful who have observed the sacred month of Ramadan with steadfast faith and dedication. This period has reminded us of the essence of sacrifice, gratitude, and unwavering trust in Almighty Allah. In the face of economic difficulties, I urge all Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to building a better future,” Chief Sanusi stated.

He further reiterated his commitment to youth empowerment, economic development, and community growth, stressing that prayers alone are not enough—hard work, innovation, and collaboration are key to overcoming challenges.

Chief Sanusi also commended Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration for its strides in infrastructural development, job creation, and economic stability, while urging both government and private stakeholders to intensify efforts toward alleviating hardship and fostering opportunities for the people.

He called on Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding, emphasizing that economic prosperity can only be achieved in an environment of stability and cooperation.

> “Let this Eid celebration remind us of our collective responsibility to uplift one another. Let us extend kindness to the less privileged, promote social harmony, and work together to build a more prosperous Oyo State and Nigeria,” he added.

As families, friends, and communities come together in celebration, Chief Sanusi prayed for peace, prosperity, and divine blessings upon the nation, urging everyone to reflect on the true essence of Eid—love, charity, and renewed faith in a brighter tomorrow.

Eid Mubarak to all!
