The Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Folajimi Oyekunle, graced the matriculation ceremony of Federal School of Forestry, Ibadan, where he charged newly admitted students to uphold discipline, obey institutional regulations, and strive to become worthy ambassadors of the school and the agricultural profession.
Addressing the matriculating students, the lawmaker urged them to see their admission as a privilege and an opportunity to build a future anchored on knowledge, responsibility, and professionalism. He emphasized that adherence to school rules would help shape them toward a disciplined lifestyle essential for success as future agriculturists and environmental stewards.
The federal lawmaker also continued his tradition of academic encouragement by presenting cash grants to the ten best graduating students from the institution as a reward for academic excellence and dedication to learning. The gesture, which has become a hallmark of his educational support initiatives, was widely applauded by staff and students alike.
The entourage accompanying the lawmaker included the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bodija Akinwale; the Special Assistant on Education to the lawmaker, Ojo A. David; and secretary to the federal lawmaker, Afolabi Ayodamope.
The ceremony marked another demonstration of the lawmaker’s commitment to educational advancement, youth empowerment, and sustained support for academic excellence within Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
