A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing the good people of Ibadan North Constituency 2, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel (a.k.a Jagaban), has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, urging residents to embrace peace, unity, and collective progress.
In a statement released to mark the celebration, the lawmaker congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of Ramadan, noting that the period of fasting and prayer reflects deep spiritual commitment, self-discipline, and compassion for others.
He emphasized that the lessons learned during the holy month should guide interpersonal relationships and community engagement beyond the festive period.
Hon. Babajide further called on citizens across Oyo State to promote peaceful coexistence, irrespective of religious or political differences.
