The Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, under the visionary leadership of Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the festival, through the Head of the Media Unit to the Chairman, Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, the Agency lauded the discipline, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion demonstrated by Muslims during the fasting period. It described the values of patience, charity, and unity exemplified during Ramadan as essential ingredients for societal growth and peaceful coexistence.
The Agency further urged young people in Oyo State to embrace the lessons of Ramadan by promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and active participation in community development. It emphasized the importance of youth engagement in fostering sustainable peace and driving positive change across the state.
While wishing Muslims a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration, the Agency reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment initiatives and inclusive development programmes aimed at improving the welfare and prospects of young people in Pacesetter State under the sustainable legacy of His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde.
