Nigerians React Over Sunday Igboho Visit To Ibarapa, After His 7Days Quit Notice To Fulani

Social media has been set on fire over the last few hours as chief Sunday Igboho Adeyemi, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, fulfilled his promise to return back to Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Governernment Area of Oyo State.

Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ recall that Sunday Igboho had sometimes last week visited the palace of the Seriki Fulani Saliu Kadri, where he purportedly gave the herdsmen 7 days quit Notice in the area.

In his words Igboho had accused fulani in the community of masterminding Killings, Abduction and other criminal Activities perpetrated in the area over the last couple of months.

Sunday Igboho who was welcomed by thousands of Youths in a mammoth crowd at Igangan Town Hall today insisted that Seriki, the head of the Fulani, must leave the town because he has been identified as a security threat.

Meanwhile, Governor Seyi Makinde had on Wednesday in a state broadcast condemned the threat to evict the Fulani, while warning those behind the threat to desist or be ready to face the wrath of the law.

The new CP in Oyo State apparently referring to the quit notice in the statement said the police aligned themselves with the position of the governor and said the police were ready to ensure the adequate security of every law-abiding resident of the state.
