OYO TESCOM: Gives Update on Cut-off Mark, Sets to Conduct Interview For Successful Applicants.

The Oyo State Government, through its Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, has signaled readiness to conduct interviews for the outstanding applicants who sat for the Computer-Based-Test organized for intending teachers in the state.

The chairman, Oyo State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Pastor Akinade Alamu, gave the hint this Sunday, while giving update on the just concluded CBT in a chat with Akéde Ọ̀yọ́

According to the TESCOM boss, the state education committee has concluded talks on the new cut-off mark that would be used to grade the applicants following the poor performance of the majority of them.

He noted that the interviews for successful applicants who meet up with the new cut-off-mark will begin before the end of this month, with the claim that applicants who Came Out With Flying Colours may begin their teaching career when the new session begins on 21st September, 2020.

You would recall that out of the 65thousand applicants who sat for the Computer-Based-Test organized for intending teachers by the Oyo state government, only 6,369 applicants performed excellently, while the best applicant in the just concluded CBT scored 86% out of the 100% total scores.
