…Says Contractors Will Start Work On Ibadan-Eruwa Road, Igbo-Ora To Iganna Road
Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has declared that he will kick start his second term reelection campaign in Igbo-Ora, the headquarters of Ibarapa Central in few weeks time.
The Governor stated this on Saturday at the celebration of World Twins day in Igboora. He noted Ibarapaland will be fully integrated into the economic development of Oyo State through Agribusiness, Tourism and road infrastructure. His words:
“Well, let me use this opportunity to tell you that I will flag-off my campaign for 2023 governorship election in Igbo-Ora. So, in a couple of weeks, I will come back to talk politics. Let me also add that we will expand the pillar on expansion of our economy.
“Before, we were talking about agribusiness, and now we will add Tourism. And if we want to do this, we need to look into what can make tourism gain foothold in Ibarapaland. So, we need infrastructure.
“Before I come back to flag off my campaign here, you would have seen some contractors on the Ibadan to Eruwa road.
“You would also see them on the road linking Igbo-ora to Iganna, and I believe Ibarapaland will be fully integrated into the economic development of Oyo State.”
