OYSCATECH Announces Launch of Degree Programs, Eyes University Status

The Governing Council Chairman and the Executive Director for Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI), Prof. Lateef Sanni has maintained that Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora is a future University.

Prof. Sanni made this known during the 2nd combined convocation ceremony held at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.

 

Prof. Sanni in his remarks noted that with the newly promoted Chief Lecturers which made the total number of Chief Lecturers in OYSCATECH to become 31; the institution has the capacity to metamorphose into a university of repute.

The Governing Council Chairman explained that with the transformation that the institution is experiencing in terms of human and material resources, there is no doubt that Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora will soon become a University.

Prof. Sanni at a brief meeting held with the newly promoted Chief Lecturers, charged them to utilize their new status to advance research at the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.

Meanwhile, the Rector, Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Prof. Akinola Akinlabi has revealed that the institution will soon commence degree programmes in collaboration with the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso and Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB).

Prof Akinlabi also revealed this during the recently held 2nd combined convocation ceremony.
