Love, unity, and shared humanity took centre stage at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort as over 500 members of staff participated in a special Valentine’s Day celebration marked by gift exchanges and heartfelt interactions.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, used the occasion to preach the values of pure love, mutual respect, and collective harmony among the people of Oyo State, Yorubaland, and Nigeria at large.
Chief Sanusi emphasized that love goes beyond romantic relationships, describing it as a powerful force that strengthens workplaces, builds communities, and promotes peaceful coexistence. He encouraged Nigerians to embrace love-driven values in their daily interactions, particularly in times when unity and compassion are most needed.
The Valentine celebration featured an engaging gift-sharing game initiated by the Media and Marketing Department of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort and expertly coordinated by Miss Adedeji Abibat. The activity fostered excitement, laughter, and a renewed sense of belonging among staff members, reflecting the resort’s people-first corporate culture.
Participants described the initiative as refreshing and inclusive, noting that it reinforced teamwork and strengthened interpersonal bonds within the organization. The colourful exchange of gifts further highlighted Ilaji Resort’s reputation not only as Nigeria’s leading themed resort but also as a workplace that prioritizes staff welfare and emotional well-being.
The Valentine event stands as another testament to Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s commitment to promoting love, unity, and human capital development, values that continue to define Ilaji Resort’s growing influence within and beyond the hospitality industry.
