The member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has written to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland on this year’s occasion of his coronation anniversary which is marked today, Monday March 11th 2024.
In a release he personally signed, Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban stated;
“It gives me great joy to celebrate my father, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Senator Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on this year’s occasion of his coronation anniversary which marks his second year on the throne of our forefathers.
I join his immediate family alongside millions of Ibadan indigenes home and abroad in celebrating a great father and a highly respected monarch whose time as Olubadan of Ibadanland so far has been blissful, pleasing and progressive.
His time so far has heralded more development for Ibadanland, as well as progress for Ibadan sons and daughters. There has been increased harmony and inter-relationships between different layers of Ibadan stakeholders, with this improved level of cooperation yielding better results for Ibadan communities development across board.
His Imperial Majesty Oba Olalekan Balogun has continued to wisely and charismatically manage the affairs of Ibadanland, and it is my profound prayers that God Almighty strengthens him, blesses him, grants him sound health and prolong his years on the throne of our ancestors, amen.”
