Ìbàdàn North Federal Rep, Prince Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban has been appointed alongside seven (7) others into the All Progressives Congress constitution review committee by Gov. Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the National Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC.
This announcement was made earlier today by Sen. John Akpanudoedehe who is the Secretary of the National Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee of the APC chaired by Governor Buni, and one on which Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí currently serve the party.
We remember that Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí was appointed alongside 12 others into the National Caretaker Committee of the APC by President Muhammadu Buhari on 25th June 2020, and he has been working tenaciously in ensuring reconciliation and repositioning of the APC across the Federation since then.
This appointment for Hon. Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban comes on the back of a few others both at the National Assembly and within the national structure of the APC in the last one year, and it is a testament to the untiring effort and contributions of Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí at the House of Representatives, as well as to the All Progressives Congress.
This 8-member constitution review committee will be chaired by Prof. Tahir Mamman OON, SAN. Other members are; Prof. Dakas C. J. Dakas SAN, Dr. Ego Queen Ezuma, Hon. Mohammed Kumaila, Shuaibu Enejo Aruwa, Barr. Ekokoi Solomon, PH.D and Hon. Dare Oketade, who is the Constitution Review Committee Secretary.
