Operations Executive (West and Central Africa)

Job Specifications:

Job Description:

International Database Management:

  • Interface with the Regional Director/international office to set up and manage users of international database.
  • Ensure ministry office profile, reports, status, etc. are kept up to date on the database.
  • Provides training and basic functional support to IDB users within the region.
  • Provide basic support service to users and where necessary interface with international office to develop new IDB functionality.


  • Work with Regional Director / international office to open new projects on the IDB for ministries within the region.
  • Provide background review and basis of approval to all projects within the region
  • Review all submitted projects for standards and appropriateness before the RD’s final approval.

Stats and Finance Reporting:

  • Works with regional leadership to ensure statistical and financial reporting are up to date before the 10th of the next month.
  • Develop statistical analysis, trends and progress in regional ministry activities using IDB reports by the 15th of the new month.
  • Provide analysis on ministry level finances (including monitoring bank balances and effective use of allocated funds).

Remits and Expenses:

  • Work with the Regional Team to develop annual regional office budget, ensure adherence and effective monthly / quarterly / annual reporting.
  • Work with RD’s Executive Assistant to ensure that all regional travels are properly funded and retired.


  • Research internal and external ministry activities within or outside the region to identify effective and working strategies, that can be duplicated across other ministries within the region or even in other regions of theglobal family.
  • Works with continental leadership to provide strategic consultation for Ministry Offices when appropriate.

GLT Support:

  • Support continental leadership by conducting on-site Ministry office reviews to ensure and propagate global standards of ministry and operational activities
  • Identify great photographs that communicates the core mission of for fund raising purpose.
  • Supports continental leadership in any other capacity by providing analysis, monitoring, and guidance on standards when helpful.

Nigeria Office:

  • Drive inventory management and reporting of the Nigerian Office
  • Reviewing and ensuring that Nigeria’s report on the IDB is correct and top notch
  • Support the monthly/quarterly/annual preparation of the Nigeria Office.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • B.Sc. / HND in Accounting / Finance or any other related course.
  • ICAN Certification
  • 4 years post NYSC working experience.

Salary Range
N150,000 – N180,000 Monthly.

Executive Assistant

Job Specifications:

Job Description:
  • Manage business-related tasks for the GCEO, such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks.
  • The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have prior experience as an Executive or AdministrativeAssistant in the past.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
  • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.
  • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
  • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed.
  • Making travel arrangements for executives.
  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Females only (for gender balance)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or other relevant Administrative support experience.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.

N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
