The House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi Jagaban has commiserated with families affected by the explosion that reportedly happened at Dejo Oyelese area of Adeyi in Old Bodija, Ibadan late evening of yesterday Tuesday 16th January 2024.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi made it known via a press statement that he is deeply saddened by the heartbreaking incident which occured within the constituency he represents, as early reports states loss of lives, injuries and damages to private and public properties in unquantifiable proportions.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi while expressing sadness over this incident is also urging members of the public to give maximum support to first responders at the site of the occurrence, to ensure as many people get saved from the rubbles and get quick medical care.
He is also urging for calm from the public, as well as adequate cooperation with law enforcement agents who are reportedly at the scene to carry out proper investigations into the matter, as everyone awaits proper details on the cause of the explosion.
