The Oyo State House of Assembly After necessary screening has confirmed the appointmentpointment of Alh Lawal Ismail Ayansiju As Commissioner for the state Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ can Confirm.
Recall that few weeks ago Makinde forwarded Lawal’s name to Oyo state House of Assembly for screening and approval.
Alh Lawal Ismail Ayansiju is the first direct cabinet change of Governor Makinde administration.
When he was asked to introduce himself and explain how his appointment will help progress the state, he waste no time to wao the house, with his well articulated oratory,
He was later asked to bow and go.
He was said to have worked with 32 local government chairmen in the ministry of local government within the state.
Few questions were asked, while others seek that the house allow him to bow and go,
The new Commissioner is expected to hit the ground running, as rumours have it that he has the technical know how of the ministry and thorough breed Administrator.
The Hon Commissioner is to fill the vacuum created in the Ministry since the termination of appointment of former Commissioner ,Prof Raphael Afonja.
Siju Lawal hails from Sepeteri in Saki East local government area of the state.
