The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reportedly arrested Mrs. Olajide Olufunke Comforter.
A source who pled for anonymity on Thursday night told Westerndailynews.com that, the Ibadan North constituency 1 House of Assembly candidate under the platform of PDP was picked up in Ibadan on Tuesday by the economic crime commission.
According to our source, Comforter, one of Oyo PDP assembly candidates for Saturday’s election was said to have got a supply of Bags of rice contract worth more than 22 million naira but failed to remit the full funds for the goods bought to the supplier who gave her the Credit facility.
Weaterndailynews.com was briefed that, the supplier of the Bags of rice decided to complain to EFCC after Comforter bridge the agreement made about payment.
It was learned that Comforter secured the contract last December and was paid in full after supply but declined to go back to the main smaller nor picked up her phone since last year.
In all our effort to reach Comforter, the PDP candidate prove abortive as her number not going through and all messages sent to her on Whatsapp were not delivered successfully.
