Ibadan North Federal Rep, Hon. Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban has also joined many others to wish a prominent Ìbàdàn Chief, Olóyè Lèkan Àlàbí a happy birthday, as the foremost journalist and PR consultant clocked 70 this week.
Hon. Jagaban described the Àgbà-Akin Olubadan of Ibadanland as a seasoned Chief, an inspirational figure and a worthy ambassador of Yoruba culture, who has over the decades promoted our traditions within and outside the country.
Olóyè Lèkan Àlàbí distinguished himself as a journalist, his professionalism is one worthy of emulation by younger generation of journalists who intend to stand out and make a difference, says Hon Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban.
“We should always celebrate elder statesmen like Olóyè Lèkan Àlàbí who has contributed to the development of Ọ̀yọ́ State through years of service, and who is still making valuable contributions till date in different capacities”, said Hon Jagaban.
“It is my prayers that Olóyè Lèkan Àlàbí continues to wax strong, in good health and sound mind. May God Almighty preserve him for many more years and bless his family”, Hon Jagaban concluded.
