The Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi makinde has today Induct the newly recruited 5000 teachers and 700 converted staff from non-teaching to teaching cadre said Education is one of he’s major Administrave pillars.
The Governor noted that his Administration will keep creating opportunities and expanding the state economy. In his words ” whatever the teachers do in the respective schools will reflect on the overall performance of his administration. He urge them to remain committed to the tasks ahead of them.
The Executive Chairman oyo state post primary schools Teaching service commission (TESCOM) Mr Akinade Alamu said the aim of the training is to ensure that the performance of the students matches the expectations and investment of the government in Education sector in the State.
The Chairman appeal to the newly recruited teachers to use the best of the opportunity given to them very well and ensure the training reflect in their day to day activities in educating the pupils with the best morals and values.
The event was attended by Oyo State deputy Governor Engr Rauf Olaniyan, A former Governorship candidate of people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, prof Olusola Eleka, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon.
