The Oyo state All Progressive Congress, APC has make further move to bring back all it’s top strikers who left the party before 2019 gubernatorial elections, In furtherance of this, leaders of the party led by the Oyo State APC reconciliation committee Chairman Otunba Alao Akala and the National Caretaker Committee of the party met with the ADC gubernatorial Candidate Sen Olufemi Lanleyin on Thursday in Abuja.
Recall that Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ had earlier reported that the Ibadan-born politician is likely to dump his current party ADC after the National Executive Council of the party dissolved the State Caretaker committee which were said to be loyal to him.
Top politicians who meet at an undisclosed location in Abuja in a bid to further cement a strong come back of Lanleyin and other members who decamped before the 2019 gubernatorial elections, among them are the Former Governor of Oyo State and Chairman Oyo APC Reconciliation Committee – Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala; Senator Teslim Folarin, Senator AbdulFatai Buhari, Adebayo Shitu, Senator Femi Lanlehin, Senator Soji Akanbi.
Others are Minister of Communication, Sunday Dare, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Hon. Odebunmi Bunvic, Alhaji Mojeed Olaoya, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, Former Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo among others.
