K1 De Ultimate, Others Arrive For Olubadan’s Burial


Popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, alias K1 De Ultimate, is among those present for the final burial rites of the late Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji.

Kwam 1, who is the Mayegun of Yoruba land, was at Mapo Hall, Ibadan to pay his last respects during the Fidau.

Oba Adetunji passed on at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, on Sunday.

He was aged 93.

The late Olubadan, while working as a fashion designer, delved into musical record marketing.

He founded his first of three record label imprints called Baba Laje Records which housed notable fuji music acts, including Dauda Epo-Akara and Wasiu Ayinde.
