The Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan has officially announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olaniyan made the announcement in a live programme on Fresh FM Ibadan Crossfire anchored by Mayor Isaac Brown on Sunday, monitored by GOAL POACHER NEWS. His words
“Politics is free entry and free exit. My supporters urged me to dump the PDP for the APC. I didn’t resign my position as deputy governor.”

Don’t waste people’s time, Is there any law that says a serving deputy governor even governor cannot leave his party?
I want to contest for presidency (laughs).

Let me tell you, one man’s food is another man’s poison. My decision is not based on that rather it is based on the advice of my supporters and friends. That’s what they asked me to do. God who has always direct my steps confirm that I should do that.
