365 days ago, we lost a prominent Ọ̀yọ́ State Son, our very own progressive leader to the cold hands of death. Shocking, sad and heartbreaking, the demise of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former Executive Governor of Ọ̀yọ́ State shook us to the roots, and we still feel his absence till date.
For a dynamic, resourceful, passionate and hardworking leader as Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, his wealth of experience would have come in handy even at this critical time where our dear Ọ̀yọ́ state faces myriad of challenges, especially on the security of lives and properties front.
Like a colossus, Sen Abiola Ajimobi blazed the political trail of Ọ̀yọ́ state, leaving indelible prints in the sands of time. His records of achievement are comprehensive, astonishing and exceptional as he was a man who had clear cut ideas on administration and governance.
He was firm, resolute and undaunting with his restoration, transformation, and repositioning agenda for Ọ̀yọ́ state, using an outstanding blueprint which yielded visible results evident till today.
We remember him today in celebration and not grief because Senator Abiola Ajimobi lived a fulfilled and impactful life, and it is my prayers that God Almighty continually abide with his entire family, amen.
