The forum of Local Government People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmen in the State, during the weekend elected new executive committee members after the expiration of the tenure of the outgoing ones.
The meeting which lasted for hours at SouthLand Hotel & Resorts ushered in the new executive committee members which includes; Alhaji Lukman Adeshina from Ibadan North West Local Government as Chairman, Alhaji Mukaila Adegbola as Vice Chairman, Hon Ogunlade George as Secretary, Hon Adedeji Derinola as Treasurer, Alhaji Sikiru Adebisi as Assistant Secretary and Chief Ojebiyi Johnson as Publicity Secretary.
In his acceptance speech, the Newly elected Chairman, Alhaji Lukman Adeshina appreciated the trust and confidence reposed in him by his colleagues in acting capacity in the last few years and further assured everyone, both old & new members of better performance and perfect representation.
He also solicited for maximum cooperation and understanding to strengthen unity and progress among members.
On a final note and on behalf of all the members of the Association, he assured Governor Seyi Makinde of total Support in making sure that, the party continue to be waxing stronger in all our Local Government Areas. He also enjoined all the Chairmen to make use of this opportunity for the growth of the Party, benefit to members of the Party and boosting the image of the Party and Administration of Governor Seyi Makinde in the State.
