Governor Engr Seyi Makinde of Oyo State had urged that all the aggrieved members of the party who had alleged him of neglecting, sidelining, keeping them out of the affairs of the States, and are yet to benefit from his administration to stay calm, adding that they will be compensated for their assiduous works soon.
The governor disclosed this during the formal inauguration of the Steering Committee For Oyo State Development Plan held at the executive chamber of the governor’s office on Friday 6th November, 2020.
He said: “It’s 2 years now, that is to those who are yet to get something from government, it is only 1 year and 5 months, they should relax, they will will also get something.
“For those who have gotten something, the time is moving too fast.”
Gov. Makinde assured them that all their grievances would soon be addressed as all of them will benefit from the dividend of his democracy during his time. He added that although the State had no developmental plan before his arrival, but has now began putting efforts together to ensure the State progresses faster and better.
