The Lawmaker representing Ibadan North State Constituency II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebayo Babajide has applause the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for the Concession of Agbowo shopping complex to Contractor for the purpose of renovation.
In the Statement made available to Akéde Ọ̀yọ́, Hon.Babajide added that he was happy that the Governor is acting on the motion he moved for the urgent renovation of the shopping complex at the floor of the State House of Assembly on the 18th of July, 2019. He however added that the remodeling of the Shopping Complex would not only add to the serenity of the State Capital, but will also provide job opportunities to the people of Oyo State.
Hon. Babajide spoke thus: “I can only commend His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde on the renovation and remodelling of the Agbowo shopping complex because, I moved the motion on the dilapidated state of the shopping complex and behold, this motion was raised based on popular demand as we received concern letters from the community.
“The renovation and remodelling of the Agbowo shopping complex will give it a beautiful and serene environment, create job opportunities to the people. It will serve also, as a form of Internal generated revenue (IGR) for Oyo State.”
