The zonal faction of the Peoples Democratic Party loyal to Governor Seyi Makinde is set to hold a factional meeting at the Agodi Governor’s office in Ibadan today.
The meeting was announced in a notice signed by the zonal faction chairman, Dayo Ogungbenro and Secretary,
Akéde Ọ̀yọ́ Understands that this is in preparation ahead of the forthcoming South-west zonal Congress schedule for next.
This Newspaper rcall that the southwest PDP has been divide into two fractions with the other fractions said to be loyal to the camp of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, with it’s candidate Eddy Olafeso.
While the camp of the Oyo state governor are rooting for Sen Hosea Agboola popularly known as Hallelujah.
The agenda of meeting, which is strictly for members of the faction, is the 2021 zonal Congress for the election of the zonal executive of the party.
