Ibadan North Constituency II lawmaker, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, has enjoined his constituents and Oyo state people to emulate Jesus Christ as they celebrate Christmas.
In his Christmas Message issued on Friday in Ibadan, made available to journalists, Babajide said, Xmas
is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, a time to celebrate love and affection.
According to him, “Christmas season is an auspicious occasion to show love and reflect on the life of Jesus Christ, whose birth we are commemorating.
“As we celebrate with our friends, relatives and neighbours, I enjoin the people of my constituency, Oyo state residents to spread the message of oneness, love, generosity and hope for greater things as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.”
He expressed the People’s Democratic party gratitude to the people of Oyo state for their support for governor Seyi Makinde’ administration, urged indigenes and residents of the state to use this festive period to pray and continue to support Seyi Makinde in his quest to move Oyo state forward.
