The entire Executive Council of the National Association of Odùduwà Students (NAOS), extend our warmest congratulations to our Patron Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd.) on his well-deserved re-appointment as the Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). This significant development reflects national confidence in his capacity and exemplary track record.
The re-appointment of Brig. General Marwa is a resounding testament to his integrity, discipline, and commitment to nation-building. Over the years, he has distinguished himself as a leader whose dedication to public service stands beyond doubt. His character and professionalism have continued to earn him the respect and trust of Nigerians across different sectors.
Under his leadership, the NDLEA has experienced renewed strength, operational excellence, and historic successes in combating drug abuse and dismantling illicit drug networks. His strategic reforms have enhanced the agency’s efficiency and restored public confidence, making the NDLEA a model institution in the fight against drug-related crimes.
As a youth-centered Pan-Yoruba organization, NAOS recognizes the importance of the Chairman’s efforts in promoting drug awareness, youth enlightenment, and community-based sensitization. His initiatives have significantly contributed to shaping a safer society for young Nigerians, especially students across tertiary institutions. We acknowledge and commend his vision-driven approach.
In alignment with our commitment to cultural preservation, moral reorientation, and youth development, NAOS reaffirms its readiness to partner with the NDLEA on impactful anti-drug campaigns, campus sensitization programmes, and advocacy initiatives across Yorubaland and beyond. We believe that sustained collaboration between youth organizations and national institutions is vital for a drug-free society.
Once again, we celebrate the Aare Atunluse of Yorubaland on this meritorious reappointment and wish him continued strength, wisdom, and success in his service to the nation. His achievements remain inspiration to young people who believe in integrity, discipline, and purposeful leadership.
