A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Oloye Lowo Obisesan, has extended warm greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan and the Lenten season respectively.
In a goodwill message released to the press, Oloye Obisesan congratulated Muslims for witnessing Ramadan and Christians for the observance of Lent, describing both periods as sacred seasons of fasting, prayers, self-reflection, and spiritual renewal.
He urged adherents of both faiths to use the holy seasons to pray for peace, unity, and progress in Oyo State and Nigeria at large, while also committing the future of the APC in the state into prayers.
According to him, the current period presents a unique opportunity for spiritual intercession for the strengthening of the APC in Oyo State and for divine guidance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Oloye Obisesan specifically called on party members and supporters to pray for the success of the APC at all levels, including the re-election of the President and the party’s victory in the governorship election in Oyo State come 2027.
He expressed confidence that with unity, dedication, and sincere prayers, the APC would emerge stronger and more cohesive, adding that the party remains committed to delivering good governance and people-oriented leadership.
The APC chieftain concluded by wishing Muslims and Christians a spiritually rewarding Ramadan and Lenten season, praying that their sacrifices and supplications would bring lasting blessings to their families, the party, and the nation.
