81st Birthday: Prince Akinremi Jagaban Celebrates Olubadan of Ibadanland; Offer Prayers of Long Life, Sound Health, Renewed Strength
Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has written to celebrate and congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun on the occasion of his 81st birthday today, Wednesday 18th October 2023.
In a press release he personally signed, Hon. Olaide Akinremi eulogized and prayed for the highly revered Kabiyesi, he stated,
“Today, I join millions of Ibadan sons and daughters across the world to celebrate our beloved King, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II on the joyous occasion of his 81st birthday.
Kabiyesi is a great man, he continues to live an impactful life, and more than ever, I’m thankful to God Almighty for keeping and strengthening him, making him and his wealth of experience readily available to all sons and daughters of Ibadanland at this important time.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II is a man of strong will and convictions, he is charismatic, bold, lively, open minded and astonishingly knowledgeable. He is a King we all have become proud of, for his vision, dynamism and welcome approach to developmental ideas for Ibadanland.
I count myself privileged to enjoy the father-son relationship I currently have with the Olubadan of Ibadanland. Constantly and consistently, my interactions with him has always yielded rich and value driven advices and guidance. He is not only a father to his biological children, he is a father to all.
It is my prayers that God in his infinite mercy will continue to uphold, strengthen, and bless our Kabiyesi. May his strength be renewed, may his health never wane, and may his life be prolonged on the throne of our forefathers, to enable us enjoy and continuously gain from his deep well of experience, amen.
