The Oyo State Government has, its part of its efforts to ensure that the residents of the State get desire response and justices from the harassment, brutality and dereliction of duty in the part of the Police Force, created an email account and a section on the State’s Official website for residents to report cases of Police violations.
The State’s residents are enjoined to report such incidents via the email address, reportpolice@mail.oyostate.gov.ng or through the link on the State’s website, where you will be required to fill necessary information.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Governor gave this directive in compliance with the federal government directive that all state government should constitute judicial panel to address issues of human rights abuse nationwide.
In the statement, the governor emphasized the need to look into genuine outcries of the EndSARS protesters so as to ensure normalcy returns to the State.
It was also added that a Judicial panel will be constituted shortly to address this Challenge. He further promised that the panel would be release soon.
