The Management of Oyo State College of Education, Lanlate, has on Tuesday suspended both Staff union Activities, proscribed the student Union Government.
This was disclosed after the emergency Governing Council Meeting held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
In a circular signed by the School Registrar, R.O Opadeji, the governing council directed all students to vacate the college with immediate effect, thereby suspending all academic activities.
Confirmed report have it the decision is connected with the students’ protests over what they termed sexual harassment and outrageous fees by the management last week.
“All academic activities in the college suspended with immediate effect
Students Union activities are hereby proscribed
Students are to vacate the College with immediate effect and;
Staff union activities spending until further notice.”
