Amotekun Apprehends Two Suspects Involved in Grisly Act of Grave Desecration, Human Head Theft in Oyo

In a shocking incident in Saki, Oyo State, the vigilant operatives of the Western Nigeria Security Network, popularly known as Amotekun, have apprehended two individuals linked to the grave desecration and removal of a fresh human head from a graveyard.

The disturbing event unfolded on Monday evening when one of the suspects invaded a graveyard in Saki, specifically in the Oba Abimbola layout off Ogboro Road. The assailant, believed to be in his middle age, brazenly dug up a recently buried grave and decapitated the deceased. Shockingly, the grave belonged to an individual who had been laid to rest on the same day.

The alarming act was brought to light when Amotekun, acting swiftly on received information, apprehended the perpetrator with not just one, but two human heads in his possession. Further investigations revealed that an accomplice, residing in the same Oba Abimbola layout, had orchestrated the gruesome mission.

Colonel Olayinka Olayanju (rtd), the State Commandant of Amotekun, confirmed the arrests, stating, “It is true. Yes, it is true.” The incident underscores the importance of the Amotekun security network in safeguarding communities against such macabre activities.

Residents are left in shock and disbelief at the audacity of such actions, and the authorities are expected to ensure a thorough investigation into the motives behind this heinous crime.
