Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Prince Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has written to commiserate with the family and entire Muslim community in Ibadan and Oyo State over the demise of Sheikh AbdulFatai Alaga, the Alfa Agba of Ibadanland whose passing occured on Tuesday 9th January 2023.
Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi in his statement made it known that though Sheikh AbdulFatai Alaga lived to a ripe age of 80 years, his demise will still be strongly felt by his family, associates and the Muslim community in Ibadan land and beyond, as everyone misses a dear one after they depart this earth, and that the vacuum their absence creates lingers for long.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi went further to state that religious leaders like Sheikh AbdulFatai Alaga, the Alfa Agba of Ibadanland are beacons for direction for all adherents, and his wisdom which he gathered from many decades of leading Islamic faithfuls and with which he continues to lead Muslim ummah till he returned to his maker will be sorely missed.
Lastly, Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi Jagaban prayed for the repose of the soul of Sheikh AbdulFatai Alaga, while also praying that God almighty strengthen and blesses his family and loved ones.
