A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and the Aare Alasa Balogun Tile of Ibadanland, Oloye Lowo Obisesan, has joined family members, friends, political associates and well-wishers to celebrate a respected community figure, Iyaafin Faniyi Olufemi Abike, popularly known as Iya Rocky, on the occasion of her 78th birthday.
In a congratulatory message released on behalf of members of the Lowofort Progressives Movement, Obisesan described the celebrant as a vibrant, dedicated and compassionate woman whose life has been marked by service to humanity and unwavering commitment to community development.
He noted that Iyaafin Abike’s contributions to society, particularly through her support for grassroots development and her motherly role to many within and outside the political space, have earned her admiration and respect across Ibadanland and beyond.
According to him, reaching the age of 78 in good health and high spirits is a testament to God’s grace and a reflection of a life lived with purpose, integrity and devotion to the well-being of others.
Obisesan further praised the celebrant for her resilience, wisdom and positive influence on younger generations, describing her as a pillar of encouragement and a symbol of strength within the community.
