Today marks 4 years since the demise of a man who remains dear to my heart, the former Governor of Oyo State Sen. Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, who was a phenomenal progressive ideologist and a remarkable symbol of excellent governance and administrative leadership.
He was a man of interesting parts and amazing experiences. His life and times remains great references for me and many others in public administration who admired his uncommon, notable and exemplary approaches to governance.
Late Sen. Abiola Ajimobi was a people lover, and a man who exuded confidence, displayed intellect and appreciated sound reasoning at every point of communication and engagement. He was finely humorous and lived his life to the fullest.
I join the entire Ajimobi dynasty and the former first lady of Oyo State, Dr. (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi in remembrance of a truly phenomenal and inspirational patriarch Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, who transcended to the great beyond on this day, 4 years ago.
It is my prayers that his soul continue to find eternal rest, and that God Almighty continues to strengthen and bless every member of his family, Amen.
