(School of Oceanography) Federal school Marine Technology situated at Victoria Island lagos has identified and drum support for its old student, Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, to be Crown the Next Alaafin of Oyo.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the Alumni President, Captain Williams Ogunsakin he maintained that as a well trained Oceanography the spirit of Descipline instill in them during their School days is more than enough to gear them to greatness and will ensure they excel in any leadership position they find themselves.
“We’ve followed the Oyo-mesi process of selecting the next Alaafin of Oyo, and we can say without mincing words that our very own Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu has what it takes to breathe New life into Oyo Kingdom, with him as the New Alaafin we Oyo Residents can be assured of progress.
“As a body ‘Alumni’ of the School of Oceanography We’re well pleased with Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, he has developed himself over the years and reach the stage of leading his people to greatness, and as such it’s pertinent that we identify with our own for the exalted throne of the Alaafin of Oyo.
Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu is a dedicated and thoroughbred Oyo Man with knowledge of the Oyo Traditional institution, he’s a replica of his grandfather the Alaafin Siyanbola who he was named after, A man Who is after the development and improvement of his people.
His ascension to the throne of his forefathers will economically breathe growth, Prosperity in Oyo Alaafin, He has all it takes to reposition the social and economic life of this ancient City”
The stool of the Alaafin is very crucial to the advancement of the Yoruba race, and as such, the very best, which is Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, should be ratified by the Oyo-mesi as the next Alaafin of Oyo.
