Ibadan residents have been informed not to panic when they notice a huge movement of security personnel on Friday, 25th November, 2022.

This measure to allay people’s fear was contained in a statement released by Lieutenant Colonel Charles Ekeocha, the acting Deputy Army Public Relations, in Ibadan.

According to the Spokesperson, the heavy movement of personnel including the police, military, and paramilitary personnel is a result of a combined route match from Letmauck Barrack, Mokola through Dugbe, Onireke joining Eleyele and Golf club, and return to base.

The statement noted that the exercise was part of routine physical training jointly conducted by the military and other security organisations within the capital city.

In the meantime, the Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Police Command, SP Adewale Osifeso has also confirmed this development in a telephone interview with newsmen.
