HEALTHCARE: Commendations As Ibadan North Federal Rep., Hon. Olaide Akinremi Places 300 Constituents On 1 Year Health Insurance; Provides Medical Kits, Cash To Beneficiaries

Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has begun to receive commendations from the public following the launch of his healthcare initiative where 300 of his constituents have been placed on health insurance for a period of one (1) year.

At a ceremony to commemorate the commencement of the healthcare programme which took place on Sat., 22nd Oct., 2022 at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall situated at Samonda Ibadan, representative of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute through which this laudable programme was facilitated, Chief Dan Makava stated that it takes passion and love of the people for a representative like Hon. Olaide Akinremi to facilitate programmes of benefit as this health insurance for his constituents.

Dr. Oyekunle of Doctors Polyclinic, one of the hospitals within Ibadan North Federal Constituency that will be consulting and giving health care to some of these beneficiaries over the course of one (1) year also lauded the initiative as facilitated by Hon. Olaide Akinremi, stating that a representative that puts the interest of his people first deserves applause, and considering the numbers of people who can’t afford basic medical care, this free health insurance will go a long way in alleviating the health challenges of selected beneficiaries.

Quite a number of the beneficiaries, among which are elderly and aged constituents of Ibadan North Federal Constituency appreciated Hon. Olaide Akinremi, saying they have had no form of regrets since they gave their votes to him in 2019, and that they are ready to support and vote for him to return to the House of Representatives once again in 2023.

Among the medical kits given to beneficiaries are BP Monitor and Thermometer for personal check-up in the comfort of their homes, and this is alongside cash stipends given to all beneficiaries to sustain themselves.

Provision was also made for eye glasses, hearing aid and dental dentures which will be appropriately administered to beneficiaries in need of them at their dedicated hospitals following detailed check-up, and this commences from 1st November 2022.
