Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North, alongside members of the public have taken turns to eulogize and appreciate the House of Reps member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi Jagaban for his laudable and people oriented empowerment initiatives following the conclusion of another important empowerment programme.
At the closing ceremony of this latest empowerment programme on Saturday 18th November 2023, and which held at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall in Samonda Ibadan, party and community leaders present which included Alhaja Tinuade Adigun the Oyo State APC Women leader, Alhaji Akibu Animashaun, Hon. Akeem Adebiyi, Chief Mrs Wemimo Beckley, Prince Oyelade Gbadebo, lauded Hon. Olaide Akinremi for his continuous empowerment drive which has benefitted thousands of Ibadan North constituents.
Also present was the Ibadan North APC Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Taofeeq Olayiwola and members of his executives. They also lended voice of commendation with regard to the efforts of Hon. Olaide Akinremi who has always been of great pride to Ibadan North. To them, Ibadan North Federal Constituency has become the envy of many other federal constituencies in Oyo State and beyond for the every-time wonderful news about happenings and benefits as facilitated by their performing Rep., Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.
In addition, members of the public were full of praise and gratitude to Hon. Olaide Akinremi for being a promise keeper and a politician that can be trusted. Among professional artisan groups and associations whose members were participants in this latest empowerment programme were hairdressers and tailors from across Ibadan North, with their members given standing hair dryers and sewing machines respectively. Also, specific number of traders were given refrigerators to assist in their cooling business. These set of beneficiaries were also given cash in addition to the empowerment items.
It is also noteworthy to mention that impressive numbers of persons living with disabilities were also trained and empowered by Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban earlier last week, with laptops and cash given to them on conclusion of their training programme. From women to youths, to elderly and to physically challenged, Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban has constantly made a conscious effort to positively affect the lives of his constituents.
