The member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has once again surprised his constituents with another phase of empowerment where different valuable items were given to a number of beneficiaries to support them and help in making their lives better.
This latest empowerment initiative was carried out on Sunday 30th June 2024 at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall in Samonda Ibadan, and it was fresh off the grants empowerment programme for 300 market men and women, traders and widows which Hon. Olaide Akinremi organized last week, and where he supported all these traders with significant amount of money to boost their businesses.
As part of this latest empowerment drive, Hon. Olaide Akinremi gifted a car to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) – Nalende/Oniyanrin chapter, and this was in fulfillment of his campaign promise to the association in 2023 when they requested for a vehicle to assist their evangelical works from Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.
In addition, several other constituents of Ibadan North were given empowerment items ranging from Deep Freezers to Refrigerators, Sewing Machines, Grinding Machines, Standing Hair Dryer and Vulcanizing Machines. Prince Akinremi Jagaban stated in the course of the event that the respective beneficiaries are those who required the allocated items for their respective start ups/businesses, as their businesses have all been verified before items were alloted to each of them.
Hon. Olaide Akinremi used the programme avenue to once again reiterate the need for his constituents to embrace entrepreneurship, making use of every legitimate opportunity they find to generate income and sustain themselves and their family. He assured his constituents of his continuous support and delivery of democratic dividends in making the lives of his people better.
