Prince Musiludeen Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, the House of Representatives member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, has been laid to rest. The burial took place at his residence in Temidire Estate, Ologuneru, Eleyele Area of Ibadan.
Politicians across the political spectrum gathered at the Ibadan International Airport to receive his remains and then proceeded to pay their final respects. The Chief Imam of Ibadan, Imam Abdul-Ganiyy Abubakare Agbotomokere, led the final prayers, and the late lawmaker was interred according to Islamic rites.
The funeral was attended by a delegation of members from the House of Representatives from Abuja, members from Oyo State, and numerous politicians. Governor Seyi Makinde’s ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro, local government chairmen, political appointees, and many others were also present to honor the late Akinremi.
