The legislative Council of Ibadan North Local Government has impeached the suspended Council Chairman Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe) TODAY SPLASH Authoritatively report.
TODAY SPLASH recall that the Embattle Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe) was suspended by the Oyo State House of Assembly over allegations leveled against him by leaders/ councillors, which was tagged ‘Misappropriation of of council fund and high-handedness of Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe)’.
The council legislatures under the leadership Leader of the house leader Hon Akindele Olaolu Amos Councillor Representing ward 1 had earlier received a petition to investigate the Chairman, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe).
TODAY SPLASH Learnt that the committee was set up by the Chairman and was headed by Hon. Abiola Sunday, It was also Learnt that Hon. Ogunkeye moved the motion for Public Urgent importance on the letter received from the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The leader of the house call for the report from the committee set up and chaired by Hon. Sunday Abiola, The report indicted the Chairman Hon. Agba-Egbe of bein
g guilty of the charge leveled against him.
A motion to read the report was accepted by the house and was moved Hon. Mudashiru Councillor ward 4, Hon Agunbiade seconded the motion to accept the report.
Hon. Mudashiru Councillor ward 4 moved the motion for removal of the chairman, and was also seconded by Hon. Ismail Akolawe councillor ward 7 seconded.
The impeachment process was carried out at the house chambers in the council, The legislatures from ward 1 to 12 all agreed that the Chairman, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe) was guilty of the following charges, 1) Misappropriation of public funds. 2) Abuse of office 3). Maladministration.
According to a signed documents by the legislatures, sighted by TODAY SPLASH, all councillors signed the impeachment documents and the Chairman Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba-Egbe) was duly impeached.
