Lagos PDP Chairman Abducted on Ibadan-Lagos Expressway, Kidnappers Demand N200 Million Ransom

Philip Aivoji, the Lagos State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has fallen victim to a kidnapping incident, as his abductors demand a hefty ransom of N200 million.

The unsettling event occurred on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Ogere area along the Ibadan/Lagos Expressway. Aivoji was returning from the PDP South-West Zonal meeting held earlier that day in Ibadan.

Shockingly, a member of the Lagos State PDP Executive Committee managed to escape the abduction and is currently undergoing medical care at an undisclosed hospital.
