Oyo State loses Iyaloja, Alhaja Kola-Daisi At 86


The Iyaloja of Oyo State, Alhaja Asake Kola-Daisi has passed on at the age of 86.

Speaking on behalf of the family, a Mogaji of Jogunosinmi compound, Oja’ba, Chief Rotimi Jogunosinmi said the Iyaloja will be buried today, Thursday at her Ibadan Ring road residence by 4pm

The chieftaincy title of Iyaloja of Oyo State was conferred on Alhaja Asake Kola-Daisi during Governor Alao-Akala administration, through the Ministry of women appointed as the Iyaloja of Oyo State by the Women Affairs, Social Welfare and Community Development by the then Commissioner, Mrs Deborah Oyelade

Chief Jogunosinmi expressed appreciation to the family members; the Oyo State Market Leaders Council; the South West Coordinator, National Association of Nigerian Traders, Mrs Odunayo Omokayode Danjuma and the Iyaloja of Ibadanland, Alhaja Risiwat Ameringun for their supports to Alhaja Wuraola Asake Kola-Daisi during her reign as the Iyaloja of Oyo State.
