The People’s Democratic party National Reconcilation and Strategy Committee led by Senator Bukola Saraki is currently locked in a closed-door meeting with Governors elected on the platform of the party.
Also at the meeting are members of the Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee to forge a way forward for the party.
The meeting which is holding at the Sokoto State Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, is expected to among other things, take stock of progress so far made in reconciling aggrieved members as well as ways of mediating in the internal disputes among some party leaders.
Governors at the meeting include Aminu Tambuwual (Sokoto), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Samual Ortom (Benue) and Ifeanyi Ugwanyi (Enugu) among others.
