More lights have been shed into the modalities in which the positions of the newly elected executives of All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State were shared across the geo-political zones and among the party stakeholders in the State.
The sources within the party have disclosed that all the positions were shared among all the party gladiators including those opposing to the October 30th Congress in Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, the state capital.
The sources further disclosed that the State Chairman, Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu (Itesiwaju LGA) is from Ajimobi Legacy Forum, who was two-term honourable commissioner under the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
He supervised Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development as well as Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey. He is still very loyal to Ajimobi political dynasty.
The State Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Abass Olayide Moshood (Ibarapa Central), a core loyalist of late former governor Lam Adesina.
After the demise of Late Adesina, he joined Ajimobi political family. Therefore, according to the sources, he is from Lam/Ajimobi Group. Also, endorsed by all leaders of Ibarapa land led by Chief Jolaosho.
Sources disclosed further that the State Secretary:, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite (Oyo East LGA) is Oyo Zone APC consensus nominee; signed by Pa C.A Ajibade; Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi (Skimeh), Dr. Yunus Akintunde, Hon. Bimbo Kolade, Kazeem Kolawole Raji, Hon. Kazeem Tunde Isiaka, Hon. Seyi Adisa and Engr. Idris Adeoye.
It was disclosed that the State Treasurer, Alhaji Lekan Busari (Ido LGA), was nominated by Chief Niyi Akintola (SAN) while the State Youth Leader, Aremu John Oyetunji (Ogbomoso South), nominated by Minister of Youth and Sports, Chief Sunday Dare.
The sources said the Publicity Secretary, Wasiu Sadare (Egbeda LGA), who is still S.A Media to former Chairman of the party, Chief Akin Oke, and State Financial Secretary: Hon. Kamal Nangeri (Oriire LGA), were nominated by the former Chairman, Chief Oke.
According to the sources, “Senatorial Chairman (Oyo North): Hon. Tunde Oloyede (Ogbomoso North LGA), was nominated by former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala while Senatorial Chairman (Oyo Central): Hon. (Dr.) Joshua Oyebamiji (Akinyele), was nominated by Senator Teslim Folarin (Oyo Central).
“Assistant Welfare Officer: Julius Adesina (Iwajowa LGA), from the camp of Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande while Assistant Legal Adviser: Olalekan Esho (Ona Ara LGA), was nominated by Chief Bayo Adelabu and Hon. Jenrade Camps”, the party sources disclosed.
