A sociocultural group, Women Frontiers Ambassadors has issued a stern warning to Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Saheed Arowosaye Adeyemi, popularly known as AROSAD.
In a statement released by its Chairperson, Mrs. Fatai Aderonke, the group berates Hon. Saheed Arowosaye for consistently trying to blackmail our highly respected and revered mother, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu.
They cautioned him to refrain from making attempts futile attempt to tarnish Sen. Monsurat Sunmonu’s reputation or face legal repercussions, urging him to abandon politics of bitterness and fulfill his duties as the democratically elected Chairman of Oyo East.
“We have observed that you’re bittered since losing the chairmanship ticket for the second term.
“Instead of focusing on fulfilling your mandate, you have resorted to blackmail. Your recent public outburst against a woman of high esteem, who has served as the Oyo State Speaker and a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is unacceptable.
“She poses no threat to you, and her sole interest lies in the welfare of her people and development of Oyo Federal Constituency.
“Despite your relentless attacks, she remains undeterred. As a group, we can no longer stay silent while you continue in such act.
“Has our loving and accommodating mother committed a crime by supporting you in 2021 when different political forces tried to truncate your chairmanship aspiration? Who did God use to make that aspiration a reality for you?
