The authorities of The Polytechnic of Ibadan have terminated the appointment of Mr. Ajadi Kelani Ojo Omotosho, a lecturer in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the institution.
The lecturer was shown the way out of the institution for his involvement in the act of misconduct which resulted in embarrassing and tarnishing the Image of the Polytechnic, Ibadan his employer.
The letter of termination dated 15th September, 2020 and signed by the Registrar, Mrs Fawale M.T.
The Governing Council therefore approved the immediate termination of the appointment with effect from Friday, 11th September, 2020.
The council urged the lecturer to hand over all the properties of the institution in his possession, to the Head of Department.
Recall, Splash 105.5 FM through one of her programmes had spotlighted the misconduct of the said lecturer bordering on immoral sexual relationship with one of his students.
