Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban has finalized plans on two (2) different training and empowerment programmes in collaboration with the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), for the benefit of his constituents.
One of these programmes is focused on training & empowerment of women and the vulnerable on soap making, while the other is a training and empowerment of women and youth on the production of deodorant. Both programmes are slated to take off on Thursday 12th October 2023 to Friday 13th October 2023 at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall, Samonda Ibadan from 9am daily.
Selected participants will also be empowered to start small scale businesses with the knowledge they will acquire from the training processes. This will enable them engage themselves productively, earning income and thereby reducing the financial burden on their immediate families.
Capacity building programmes such as training and empowerment remains an important agenda for Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, as he continues to work assiduously in facilitating life changing opportunities for the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency who graciously re-elected him for a second term of office in the last general elections.
